Information We Collect

Athletic Motion Golf Club, LLC gathers several categories of data:

  • Account & Contact Information: Name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses

  • Transaction Data: Purchase and booking records; payment processing handled by PCI-compliant third parties

  • Device & Usage Data: IP addresses, browser data, pages visited, interaction metrics via cookies and analytics

  • Biometric & Performance Data: Motion capture, 3D kinematic data, swing metrics, video and audio recordings linked to user profiles

  • Communications: Emails, chats, forms, reviews, surveys

  • Third-Party Data: Information from advertising partners, analytics providers, and fulfillment services

How Information Is Used

The facility uses collected data to:

  • Deliver and personalize memberships, coaching, and services

  • Maintain user accounts and authenticate access

  • Analyze performance for progress tracking and program improvement

  • Send permitted marketing communications (opt-out available)

Legal Basis for Processing

For U.S. users, the organization processes data through contract performance, legitimate business interests (analytics, security, fraud prevention), consent where required, and legal compliance obligations.

Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

The site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies via Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Ads for measurement and retargeting. Users can manage preferences through browser settings or opt-out at Network Advertising Initiative, Digital Advertising Alliance, and Google Ads Settings.

Sensitive Information & Biometrics

Performance recordings and derived metrics may qualify as sensitive or biometric data under certain state laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). This data is stored under account profiles, accessed only by authorized staff, never sold, and retained up to five years from last activity unless deletion is requested.

Data Sharing

Information is shared with service providers (payment processing, hosting, analytics), during business transfers, for legal compliance, and with user consent.

Data Retention

  • Account and order records: Seven years (tax/compliance)

  • Coaching video and motion data: Up to five years from last activity

  • Marketing data: Until opt-out or two years of inactivity

User Rights

California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination. U.S. residents may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information and opt out of marketing. The facility does not sell personal information.

Security & Children

The organization implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Services are intended for ages 13+; minors require parental consent and account supervision.

To everyone who made this past year at The Lab Monterey so special, thank you.

When I arrived in Monterey Bay, I knew I was stepping into a place with an incredible golf history. What I did not know was how quickly the people here would make it feel like home.

Over the past year, I have had the privilege of coaching golfers who care deeply about getting better, celebrating breakthroughs together, and building relationships that I will carry with me long after my final day at The Lab. Every lesson, conversation, and moment in the studio has meant more to me than I can put into words.

I am deeply grateful to The Lab Monterey team, every student who trusted me with their game, and the wider Monterey Bay golf community for your support, friendship, and belief in what we were building. You gave me a wonderful year that I will always remember.

Now, I am excited to share the next chapter: I am joining Athletic Motion Golf Club in the Orlando area, located in Winter Garden, Florida, as its newest instructor.

This opportunity brings me back to the heart of the Athletic Motion Golf family and allows me to keep doing what I love: helping golfers understand their swing, train with purpose, and play better golf.

Leaving Monterey Bay is bittersweet. I will miss the people, the energy, and the relationships built here. But I am genuinely excited for what lies ahead, and I hope our paths cross again, whether in Florida or somewhere around the game we all love.
